Wenn du darauf klickst und eine Buchung vornimmst, erhalte ich eine kleine Provision \u2013 f\u00fcr dich bleibt der Reisepreis unver\u00e4ndert.)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Interessante Fakten \u00fcber Meteora<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Meteora, in der N\u00e4he von Kalambaka in Zentralgriechenland, ist ber\u00fchmt f\u00fcr seine <strong>beeindruckenden Felsformationen mit Kl\u00f6stern<\/strong>, die wirken als w\u00fcrden sie der Schwerkraft trotzen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Der Name <strong>\u201eMeteora\u201c bedeutet auf Griechisch \u201ein der Luft schwebend\u201c<\/strong> und beschreibt perfekt die Kl\u00f6ster, die auf hohen Sandsteinfelsen thronen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Im 11. Jahrhundert <strong>lie\u00dfen sich M\u00f6nche hier nieder,<\/strong> um Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit zu finden. Zuerst erreichten sie die Kl\u00f6ster mit <strong>Seilen, Leitern und K\u00f6rben,<\/strong> bevor sie sp\u00e4ter Treppen in die Felsen bauten, um den Zugang zu erleichtern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Die m\u00e4chtigen Felsformationen, von denen einige <strong>bis zu 400 Meter hoch aus dem Tal ragen,<\/strong> wurden \u00fcber Millionen von Jahren durch Erdbeben und Erosion geformt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Meteora wurde 1988 aufgrund seiner nat\u00fcrlichen Sch\u00f6nheit, historischen Bedeutung und kulturellen Relevanz als <strong>UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe<\/strong> anerkannt und geh\u00f6rt zu den <a href=\"https:\/\/worldoflina.com\/de\/sehenswuerdigkeiten-griechenland\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">beeindruckendsten Sehensw\u00fcrdigkeiten Griechenlands<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">So kommst du von Thessaloniki nach Meteora<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Wie bereits erw\u00e4hnt, haben wir Meteora im Rahmen einer Tour besucht. Aber ich m\u00f6chte dir auch andere M\u00f6glichkeiten vorstellen, wie du von Thessaloniki dorthin kommen kannst.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mit \u00f6ffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Um von Thessaloniki nach Meteora mit \u00f6ffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu gelangen, kannst du entweder den Zug oder den Bus nehmen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Direkte Z\u00fcge fahren von Thessaloniki nach Kalambaka, der Stadt am Fu\u00dfe von Meteora, und <strong>brauchen etwa drei Stunden<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Tickets k\u00f6nnen auf der <a href=\"https:\/\/newtickets.hellenictrain.gr\/Channels.TrainoseWeb\/#\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Hellenic Train Website<\/a> (hat bei uns jedoch nicht funktioniert) oder am Ticketautomat im Bahnhof gekauft werden und kosten <strong>zwischen \u20ac15,- und \u20ac30,-<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Ich konnte keinen Standard-Preis f\u00fcr ein R\u00fcckfahrtticket finden, da die <strong>Preise je nach Uhrzeit und Verf\u00fcgbarkeit des Zuges variieren<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Ein erheblicher Nachteil ist, dass die Z\u00fcge nur bis Kalambaka fahren. Um zu den Kl\u00f6stern zu gelangen, <strong>musst du ein Taxi nehmen oder an einer gef\u00fchrten Tour von Kalambaka aus teilnehmen <\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Die Busfahrt dauert noch l\u00e4nger. <a href=\"https:\/\/ktelbus.com\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">KTEL<\/a> bietet Verbindungen von Thessaloniki nach Kalambaka an, bei denen in der Regel <strong>ein Umstieg in Trikala erforderlich ist<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Die gesamte Reisezeit <strong>betr\u00e4gt etwa 4\u20135 Stunden<\/strong>. Einmal in Kalambaka angekommen, musst du wie beim Zug entweder ein Taxi nehmen oder an einer Tour teilnehmen, um die Kl\u00f6ster zu besuchen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Wie du siehst, ist die Busfahrt ziemlich unpraktisch. Wenn du \u00f6ffentliche Verkehrsmittel nehmen m\u00f6chtest, dann am besten den Zug.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mit dem Auto<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Die Autofahrt nach Meteora ist ziemlich einfach. Du musst <strong>die Egnatia Odos (A2) Richtung Ioannina nehmen<\/strong> und den Schildern nach Kalambaka folgen. Die Fahrt dauert <strong>etwa 2,5 bis 3 Stunden.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">In Meteora <strong>gibt es mehrere Parkm\u00f6glichkeiten,<\/strong> die in der N\u00e4he der Kl\u00f6ster und Wanderwege liegen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Bei der Ankunft halte Ausschau nach <strong>Schildern, die dich zu den Parkpl\u00e4tzen f\u00fchren<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Wenn du, wie meine Schwester und ich, mit dem Flugzeug nach Thessaloniki fliegst und kein Auto hast, kannst du auch ein Auto mieten. Allerdings ist <strong>nicht jedes Kloster jeden Tag ge\u00f6ffnet<\/strong> und die t\u00e4glichen \u00d6ffnungszeiten h\u00e4ngen von der Saison ab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Wenn du bestimmte Kl\u00f6ster besichtigen m\u00f6chtest, solltest du im Voraus die <a href=\"https:\/\/meteora.com\/meteora-monasteries-opening-hours\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u00d6ffnungszeiten pr\u00fcfen<\/a> und deinen Tagesausflug entsprechend planen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Der <strong>Eintritt f\u00fcr jedes Kloster kostet \u20ac3,-<\/strong> und ist nur bar zu bezahlen. Denk daran, genug Bargeld dabei zu haben, da diese Geb\u00fchren <strong>meistens nicht im Tourpreis enthalten<\/strong> sind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Neben den Kl\u00f6stern gibt es in der Gegend von Meteora noch <strong>andere sehenswerte Orte<\/strong>. Bevor ich dir aber mehr davon erz\u00e4hle, schauen wir uns zuerst die einzelnen Kl\u00f6ster an!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Das Kloster Meg\u00e1lo Met\u00e9oro<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Das Kloster Meg\u00e1lo Met\u00e9oro (Gro\u00dfes Meteoron) ist <strong>das gr\u00f6\u00dfte und \u00e4lteste<\/strong> der Meteora-Kl\u00f6ster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Es wurde <strong>im 14. Du kannst die Kirche, das alte Refektorium und die M\u00f6nchsr\u00e4ume erkunden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Das Kloster Varla\u00e1m<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Das Kloster Varla\u00e1m ist das <strong>zweitgr\u00f6\u00dfte Kloster in Meteora<\/strong> und wurde im 16. Jahrhundert gegr\u00fcndet. Jahrhundert auf dem Felsen niederlie\u00df, ist das Kloster <strong>f\u00fcr seine beeindruckenden Fresken<\/strong> des ber\u00fchmten Ikonenmalers Frangos Katelanos bekannt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Im Kloster gibt es auch ein Museum, in dem du <strong>religi\u00f6se Ikonen aus der Renaissance<\/strong> bewundern kannst.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Das Kloster Agios St\u00e9phanos<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Das Kloster Agios St\u00e9phanos liegt auf einer niedrigen Ebene und ist \u00fcber eine kleine Br\u00fccke erreichbar. Es ist <strong>eines der am leichtesten zug\u00e4nglichen Kl\u00f6ster<\/strong> in Meteora und war eines der beiden, die wir bei unserer Tour besucht haben.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Im Kloster aus dem 14. W\u00e4hrend deines Besuchs wirst du wahrscheinlich einige der <strong>hier lebenden Nonnen<\/strong> sehen, die das Kloster bewahren und pflegen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Ein Besuch dieses Klosters bietet auch <strong>spektakul\u00e4re Ausblicke<\/strong> auf das Thessalische Tal, den Pinios-Fluss, das Pindos-Gebirge und die Stadt Kalambaka <strong>aus 300 Metern H\u00f6he<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Das Kloster Rous\u00e1nou<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Das <strong>zweite Frauenkloster<\/strong>, und auch das, das wir nach Agios St\u00e9phanos besuchten, war das Kloster Rous\u00e1nou.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Auf einem schmalen Felsen gelegen, ist dieses Kloster <strong>eines der kleineren in Meteora<\/strong>, aber keineswegs weniger beeindruckend als die anderen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Es wurde im 16. Jahrhundert gegr\u00fcndet und <strong>ist der heiligen Barbara gewidmet<\/strong>.
